The Data and Information Workstream is responsible for working with the other workstreams to identify and develop appropriate metrics for measuring achievement against outcomes.

Updates from the Data and Information Workstream:

The Data and Information Workstream is currently agreeing the domains and data elements required to deliver the national wound care strategic programme.  It is also seeking to identify the existing coding systems and IT systems in use and existing national data sets with a view to identifying what is already measured and what needs to be measured across all healthcare sectors.

The plan is to seek agreement as to which codes are relevant to wound care.

On 15th July 2020, the NHS England and NHS Improvement National System Improvement Team held a webinar on video consultation in wound care to which the NWCSP were invited to contribute.  The recording of this webinar can be found below and a summary of the webinar slides can be found here.
