Update – Remote Consultations and Wound Care

On 15th July 2020, the NHS England and NHS Improvement National System Improvement Team held a webinar on video consultation in wound care to which the NWCSP were invited to contribute. The recording of this webinar can be found here.

Update – COVID-19

NHS England and Improvement have issued the following advice in relation to the prioritisation of work during the COVID-19 period. The guidance relating to wound care can be found here on pages 7-9.

Update – CQUIN 2020/21 News

Leg ulceration and pressure ulcer risk assessment are included in the 2020/21 CCG CQUIN scheme.
The leg ulcer CQUIN is for all providers of community nursing services and addresses assessment, diagnosis and treatment of leg ulcers.

The pressure ulcer CQUIN is for all providers of community in-patient services (including nursing care homes) and addresses assessment and documentation of pressure ulcer risk.
