Image of Amanda Begley Executive Director of Digital Transformation of Health Innovation Network who is presenting at the show.Amanda Begley, Exec Director of Digital Transformation – Health Innovation Network will be presenting Working in partnership to accelerate the remote monitoring technologies market.

Remote monitoring offers an opportunity to care for patients in their homes, whilst also freeing up frontline staff and NHS estate. However, navigating the market is difficult due to the volume and diversity of solutions. The market is in growth phase, with many products offering a range of situationally appropriate functionalities. Our understanding of the value of RM and virtual ward pathways is also evolving, with emerging insights from patients and clinicians informing changes in functionality and new technological solutions.
By working in partnership with industry – bringing in their innovative ideas and technical capabilities – we can accelerate and direct the development of these technologies. Having engaged with 50/+ experts (CCIOs, procurement, commercial and legal experts) we have captured insights and recommendations on the mechanisms available through the procurement process to help the NHS harness innovation and drive remote monitoring in a way that works for patients, staff, and commissioners.

Amanda will be joining the panel discussion on How can digital solutions support the workforce? in the Digital Keynote Theatre between 14:45 – 15:30.

She will be joined by:

  • Alyson Scurfield, Chief Executive – TEC Services Association
  • Darren Atkins, Chief Technology Officer – The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust
