Webinar on supporting primary care with sepsis and NEWS

Health Education England (HEE) is holding a webinar on ‘Sepsis and NEWS – supporting the primary care team in the identification and management of the deteriorating patient’. The webinar will explore primary care as a system leader for the prevention and early identification of sepsis and the deteriorating patient.

A series of new training videos for care homes and their staff, developed with West of England and Wessex AHSNs will also be discussed. These form part of training materials which will be launched soon on HEE’s e-Learning for Healthcare (e-LfH) hub.

The webinar will be led by Dr Alison Tavaré, Primary Care Clinical Lead, West of England AHSN. This is your chance to find out what’s new, ask questions of national experts and hear what best practice looks like in this important area for patient safety.
