The National Wound Care Strategy Programme (NWCSP) is seeking to appoint a Digital Programme Manager (indicative band 8d) to lead on comprehensive project management activities in support of the NWCSP digital initiatives for wound care. The post will be full-time and for a fixed term of 12 months. This is an opportunity for a secondment or affiliate agreement only.

The post-holder will work closely with members of the NWCSP and NWCSP stakeholders to design innovative, effective and lasting solutions in relation to the digitalisation of wound care.

The post-holder will be responsible for planning, operationalising, and monitoring projects related to implementing digitalisation of wound care. To achieve this, they will be able to analyse data and information using a high degree of judgement and awareness of operational and strategic issues, making full use of this knowledge to deliver outputs that support improvements to patient services. They will be able to communicate complex information and gain support for collaborative working and delivery of outputs without having direct line management responsibility for those involved in such work.

The post-holder will be able to work well with other team members, both internal and external stakeholders and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Some travel is expected regularly within England (depending on COVID-19 restrictions).
