On Wednesday 9 December nearly 200 pulmonary rehabilitation practitioners tuned in to hear experts, innovators and practitioners outline the challenges currently facing pulmonary medicine as well sharing the experiences of implementing new approaches.
The session was chaired by Professor Mike Roberts, Managing Director of UCLPartners, and a respiratory physician. Attendees also heard from Dr Andrew Menzies Gow, NHS Clinical Director for Respiratory Services on the challenges currently facing pulmonary medicine. The rest of the sessions focussed on practical experiences of implementing new ways to reach pulmonary rehabilitation patients during the disruption to face to face services.
